In our column, Joe and Teresa Graedon share their journeys with heartburn and heart health, and why they want to share their findings with you. They tried over the counter pain relievers, such as Cetirizine, Nexium, and Protonix, but the pain was unbearable. They also tried heartburn pills, such as Cetirizine and Nexium. But, they were still experiencing heartburn. They were also diagnosed with severe chest pain that they believed was a result of heartburn. They were hospitalized in June 1998 and were finally diagnosed with heartburn at the age of 49. They were also diagnosed with severe chest pain that lasted over six months. After a year and a half of hospitalization, Joe and Teresa Graedon had another heartburn episode in June 1998, when they were hospitalized in October 1998. They went to the hospital in December, and Joe and Teresa Graedon had a diagnosis of heartburn at the age of 49. Their next episode was December 2000. Joe and Teresa Graedon had a second heartburn episode in January 2003, when they were hospitalized in October 2003. They went to the hospital in November 2003, and Joe and Teresa Graedon had another episode in February 2004, when they were hospitalized in December 2004. They went to the hospital in June 2004, and Joe and Teresa Graedon had another episode in June 2005, when they were hospitalized in December 2005.
